: We sure have been using 56k for a long time in this erra of, supposedly, inovation. The wireless service isounds great, but 128k (only double 56k) for $69 is steep. I'm looking for broadband, always on, for around $50. Seems to be the standard in the real world?? Will Time Warner cable offer cable modem service? Or Verizon DSL? Or NCIA a cheap high speed service?
: I see no reason to buy any computer upgrades until broadband, and I think that's what's got the industry in the doldrums??
