Habitat for Humanity Home DedicationOn Saturday November 21, 2009 , MWV Habitat for Humanity dedicated a new home to Ms. Rosemary Evans and her two children. The dedication ceremony was conducted at the home on Robert Morrell Drive. Doug Morehouse is shown presenting the keys to the house to the Evans family. This is the third home that Habitat has dedicated to qualifying families in 2009. This achievement is the result of a significant community contribution from: the many volunteers who built the home; the Evans family who put in “sweat-equity” hours throughout the building process; many MWV building suppliers and contractors who provided construction materials or provided specialized building services; and the 28 local restaurants which donated lunches for Habitat work crews. In addition, MWV Habitat for Humanity is supported by grants from various foundations and community organizations and contributions from our neighbors. |
