Online Application For Service

1. Does your system meet our minimum requirements?

• 14.4 modem or higher?
• Windows 95 or higher?
• System 7.1 or greater for the Mac OS (with Mac TCP control panel for those below System 7.5)?

• Do you know how to install software?
• Navigate a mouse?
• Are you comfortable with the basic functions of your Operating System? (i.e. Opening and closing programs, minimizing windows, copying and pasting files, drag and drop functions, point and click, etc.)
• Are you familiar with the letter names of your floppy drive, hard disk, and CD-ROM drive?

If your computer does not meet our minimum requirements, or you are not sure; we strongly either recommend upgrading your computer, or learning more about the basics of your computer before signing on. There are several educational books and magazines available that deal with basic, fundamental computer skills, as well as educational classes available through your local college or computer store.

The technical support staff at NCIA is fully qualified to help with any questions dealing with the installation and setup of your account, but can not help with questions dealing with the operating system itself. Please consult NCIA Computer Outlet for service at 752-8416.

Macintosh users can find out which System they're running by Selecting "About this Mac (Computer)". It will tell you the amount of free RAM as well. If you do not know which Network Software you're using, Go to the Apple Menu and pull down to Control Panels and look for MacTCP or TCP/IP. If you Find "MacTCP" that's what your using, if you find "TCP/IP" you're using Open Transport. If you do not find either, You may not have any Apple Networking software installed. MacTCP 2.0.6 comes included with the System 7.5 installer and Open Transport 1.1.1 comes included with the System 7.6 and higher Installers.

2. Credit Card Transaction Options:
• Call our main office at 1-603-752-1250 (or toll free in NH 1-800-797-6242) and NCIA can mail an application to you.

• Fill out our Online Application and submit your info using our secure transaction. (Account will be set up on the next business day. If submitted Monday through Friday before 5:00 it will be set up the same day.)

• Print and fill out our Printable Application and either mail it or drop it off at our main office at 38 Glen Avenue, Berlin, NH or FAX it to 603-752-8134.
